When she came to me, she was heartbroken, disappointed, and afraid of being around people.
She felt like she was drowning and no one cared to save her.
The people she loved most didn’t understand her pain.
She felt stuck in a life she never signed up for and had abandoned her dreams to support everyone else.
She had poured herself out endlessly without recognition, consideration, or rest and eventually placed her dreams on the back burner.
Over time, fear crept in and the crippling fear that it was too late to reclaim what she once hoped for.
Overwhelm and frustration of the trauma she experienced had now manifested into illness.
What she went through was no longer just emotional pain it now had physically consequences.
Overtime the disappointment settled into her body and it began affecting her physical health: the prolonged stress, fear and trauma overwhelmed her body’s system and manifested as real tangible illness in her body.
She chose to work with Intentional Grace MD because she witnessed the transformation in my own life.
She saw my testimony of resilience and trusted that I could walk beside her hand in hand back home to herself.
After three months of intentional work, she looked at me and said:
“Doc…..your 3-month program works.”
Today, her transformation speaks for itself.
She now recognizes that illness is not punishment or weakness; it is just evidence of how much she endured and through coaching she is better able to handle it.
She now shows up as a woman with renewed faith, restored confidence, and clarity in who God has called her to be.
She no longer overfunctions, overthinks, or overextends herself for others without first evaluating the cost of her yes.
She sleeps through the night for the first time in years.
She also feels ready and better equipped to leave her job.
She is also now preparing to embark on a journey abroad away from the safety net of her parents while trusting that love and support will remain.
She is intentional about caring for herself and extending the same grace to others that she now gives herself.
She found her value in her presence, and no longer in what she does for others.
She socializes by choice without the crippling anxiety that once consumed her.
She creates a quiet space to sit with herself to acknowledge her anxiety, fear, and self doubts without shame.
She no longer internalizes unkindness and instead addresses it with clarity and kindness.
She is setting boundaries not just around access, but around the permission she grants others to treat her.
She has gone from being her own worst enemy to becoming her own hype woman and cheerleader.
She no longer seeks external validation from others and is confident in herself and trusting her decisions.
She has relearned the importance of putting her oxygen mask on first and now understands she no longer needs to rescue others unless asked, and even then, only with discernment.
Intentional Grace MD held space for her to cry, be angry but most of to be honest without judgment.
Our Grace sessions offered her a different perspective that allowed her to see truth she couldn’t access without intentional support.
The intensive care work was effective because she did the work even when she didn’t want to.
Through journaling, reflection, stillness, and reconnecting with herself, she became reacquainted with the woman in the mirror .
Now, she walks with a glow, joy on her face and peace that radiates and now impacts everyone around her.
She is living proof that the work done inside translates into beauty on the outside and a confidence no longer dependent on the approval of others.
Her kindness speaks for itself, She identifies herself now as the woman God created and now she is ready to live out her bucket-list goals guilt-free, with decisiveness, courage, and unwavering trust in herself and the God she serves.
